Sampras Coming to Memphis

It all started in 1990, when he became the youngest men’s champion ever to win the US Open, taking the title at age 19. That was only the beginning. He now owns the greatest record ever, the all-time leader in Grand Slam singles titles, with 14 wins on the world’s greatest stages. He won at least one Grand Slam title eight straight years, and nine of his last 10 years on tour. For 12 years in a row, he finished in the world’s Top 10. And he’s coming to Memphis to headline Opening Night of the Regions Morgan Keegan Championships and the Cellular South Cup.

Pete Sampras will play a singles exhibition match to kick-off tournament week at The Racquet Club of Memphis on Monday night, February 16, 2009. Your ticket for the evening session will include the opportunity to see the greatest player who ever played the game, in the intimate indoor stadium at The Racquet Club.
